About NAF2023
The NAF has been running since 2007, when they made history by hosting what was the largest airsoft event ever held in the history of UK airsoft, bringing players from all over the UK and Europe together in one game. It’s now become THE airsoft event of the year, with a great festival vibe. Every year the NAF gets bigger & better with more events and extra activities, interesting and in depth game features and most importantly, all the players, who make it a truly fantastic weekend for everyone involved, on and off the field!
What did we provide?
Airsoft comes with unique considerations, in that the game is played with realistic imitation firearms, which can easily be confused as real weapons. It’s important to ensure that these game pieces are handled with respect and kept within the boundaries of the festival ground. Add a bar to the mix and you’ve got risk factors that need to be managed.
RSG have provided a security team to manage entry/exit points, customers within the bar area and the wider event who are enjoying a beer or two, as well as ensuring that those on site have paid their festival fee and are donning the annual wristband. Child safety considerations are another element of this event, which attracts a wide age range, our safeguarding background allows us to put mitigation steps in place to support the wellbeing of minors.
The team worked cohesively with onsite marshals and staff to maintain a safe and fun event, which will undoubtedly go on for years to come.
