COVID-19 put a lot of things on hold for a while, including graduation ceremonies. We were asked to provide security and medical teams for a full week of graduation ceremonies in the middle of the summer, for the students who missed their graduations in previous years.
Temperatures in excess of 30 degrees and nervous students are the perfect mixture for feints and anxiety. Our medical teams provided water and essentials for the students as they deservingly walked on to stage and received their graduation scrolls. 20 ceremonies, 5 days, thousands of students, all made easy with an effective team on hand.
Our security team worked tirelessly to manage parking, flow of students and encourage social distancing, allowing the event to go ahead. We had the pleasure of meeting the local council COVID teams, who were thoroughly pleased with the effort that was put in to support the event running smoothly.
