When we were asked to provide event medical cover for the annual “Guildford Illuminated” shows, we were delighted. This fantastic event encompasses light and sound, with engaging visuals spanning the cathedral’s structure. It’s an event that attracts hundreds of visitors each time, always fully booked.

What did we provide?
This event happens every year. There are multiple sessions throughout the day, allowing for smaller groups of people to enjoy the show. The general risk was low, the historic patient data was good and there were no hazards identified that require a comprehensive medical team.
We provided a first responder lead medical team for this event, equipped with basic life support equipment, first aid kit, and observation monitoring equipment.
This particular client is a fine example of an event organiser! They are always considerate of their guests, make all the effort they can to create a fantastic customer experience and consider all aspects of the event, including appropriate first aid cover.
